Are you someone who believes that teaching ‘BAA BAA BLACKSHEEP’ to children is inherently dangerous to cognitive well being?
How can one expect a child to accept the notion that a quadrupedal, ruminant mammal not only understands English, but can and will correctly and coherently reply, in context, to any question posed to it (i.e. Baa Baa Blacksheep, have you any wool?).
Not only that; but this even-toed ungulate has a grasp of a variety of concepts; including those of Primary Industry (relating to wool),social reciprocity and politeness (Yes sir, yes sir), basic mathematics, volume, measurement, spacial dynamics (three bags full), distribution (one for the Master, one for the Dane), transportation and delivery (and one for the little boy who lives down the lane).
How can a child be expected to swallow all that?
If you can see the cognitive danger inherent in teaching children such complex concepts in such a covert way, then clearly chemical stimulants are wasted on you.

Talking to animals is nice, it may even be theraputic… but teaching kids that they can coherently talk back? well that makes as much sense as this post.
